The Carepoint Emergency Response System is a Windows XP system operating through a patented Central Alarm Receiver (CAR) to a Dell or HP PC with fail safe engineering and dependability.
Central Monitoring Console
The fully redundant Central Monitoring Console is the heart of the community resident safety system. The CMC receives alarms and information through the resident safety back-bone for wireless help, check-in and community monitoring transmitters. All information is recorded and staff is notified, when appropriate, through pagers or staff phones. The CMC consists of the Smartcare Resident Safety application, and Central Alarm Receiver (CAR), Interruptible Power Supply, Reporting Printer and the CMC can interface to community alarms /fire panels. The Central Alarm Receiver (CAR) is a highly-reliable, alarm-processing and backbone monitoring device. The CAR is in constant communication with the Smartcare PC to assure staff notification of community events.
